How these two meet
Aries proposes and Taurus does not move, and Aries reads it as refusal when it is only a body that has not finished being where it is. Taurus is asked again and digs in. The digging makes Aries push. Now you are both doing the thing you do under pressure, at each other.
There is no angle here to see across. Next door in the zodiac sounds close and is the least comfortable distance there is: no shared element, no shared mode, nothing to triangulate from.
What holds it is directness. Neither of you plays games, neither hints, and each of you found that restful after people who did.
