How these two meet
Aries and Taurus: the one who moves meets the one who stopped.
Aries proposes and Taurus does not move, and Aries reads it as refusal when it is only a body that has not finished being where it is. Taurus is asked again and digs in. The digging makes Aries push. Now you are both doing the thing you do under pressure, at each other.
There is no angle here to see across. Next door in the zodiac sounds close and is the least comfortable distance there is: no shared element, no shared mode, nothing to triangulate from.
What holds it is directness. Neither of you plays games, neither hints, and each of you found that restful after people who did.
Mars starts and Venus stays. Taurus is what Aries becomes when it stops, and Aries is what Taurus was before it decided that staying was better. Each of you is looking straight at the part of yourself the other one already corrected.
What is being read as refusal that is only slowness?
For Aries, the work is asking once and then genuinely stopping. The second ask turns a body still deciding into a body defending itself, every time.
For Taurus, the work is answering on the first ask, even provisionally. Silence is not neutral here: to Mars it is a closed door, and Mars responds to closed doors by pushing.
Mars starts and Venus stays. One of you is what the other one does next.
That is not a problem to be solved. It is the arrangement, and it works whenever either of you remembers it.
30 degrees apart
Thirty degrees apart, side by side on the wheel, and not a classical aspect at all. The five Ptolemy kept are the conjunction, the sextile, the square, the trine and the opposition, and the semi-sextile is not among them. Neighbouring signs share nothing: not the element, not the modality, not the polarity. That is the geometry underneath a friction that can go years without a name. There is no angle here to have the argument about.

A sign is still a general lens: it says nothing about where your Moon or your Venus actually fell. A synastry report reads your two real birth charts against each other, with the aspects that are genuinely there.
