It reads attraction and emotional need together, without a compatibility score and without needing anyone’s birth time.

The Moon describes what a person needs before they can relax: the reassurance they look for, the care they know how to give, and what they do when they are not sure where they stand. Two people can want each other very clearly and still miss each other completely here, because one of them settles by talking it through and the other settles by going quiet, and neither reads the other’s method as care.
The Moon is read at SIGN level and never as geometry, and that is a measurement rather than a preference. The Moon covers between eleven and fifteen degrees in a day while the widest aspect window is twelve, so without a birth time no angle to a Moon can be asserted honestly. What can be said is which sign it was in, and when the Moon crossed a boundary during the day the report names both possibilities and reads both meetings rather than picking the one noon happened to land on.

Why does it not read the angles between our Moons?
Because it would not be true. The Moon travels between 11.8 and 15.3 degrees in a day and the widest aspect window is 12, so without a birth time there is no Moon angle that holds for every hour you could have been born. The Moon is read as a sign, and its geometry belongs to the Synastry Report, which asks for birth times.
What if the Moon changed sign on our birthday?
Then the report names both signs and reads both meetings. It never picks one and presents it as certain, because from a date and a city it is genuinely two possibilities.
