How these two meet
Every decision in this house gets classified before it gets made, and the classification is the argument. Aries hears a plan. Libra hears a proposal that has not been put to the room yet.
Neither of you is being selfish and neither of you is being weak. You are holding the two ends of one question, which is whether a person is a self that joins things or a relation that a self appears inside.
Mars decides and moves, 2.13 years between reversals, no signal before the turn. Venus weighs and does not stop weighing, and never opens more than 47.3 degrees from the Sun. Both cardinal, so you both start things, in opposite directions.
And here is what an axis does that a mere difference does not: it makes both ends more extreme. Every time Aries decides alone, Libra consults more. Every time Libra consults, Aries decides faster. Neither of you has been like this the whole time. You made each other like this.
For Aries, the work is putting one decision to the room before making it, and letting the answer change it.
For Libra, the work is deciding one thing alone and telling the room afterwards.
And a third: neither of you gets to say the other one started it. On an axis, both ends are always moving.
The question
Which of you moved first, and how far did it push the other one?
One conscious action
one decision, the other way round
Swap once this week. Aries asks first. Libra decides first.
You will both do it badly, and badly is the point: it is the first time either of you has used the other one’s end.
Mars decides and Venus weighs, and this is one of the six axes the wheel is actually built on. The two of you are not a pairing. You are the two ends of one question.
Neither of you can move without moving the other. That is not a metaphor about closeness. It is what an axis is.
