How these two meet
Taurus and Sagittarius: a rucksack by the door, and the question nobody asks in the kitchen.
The rucksack by the door on a Thursday, packed since Tuesday, for a thing that starts on Saturday. Taurus has not mentioned it. Sagittarius has mentioned it four times, each time with a different reason for going, and none of the reasons was the real one and none of them was a lie either.
What Taurus wants to ask is whether they are coming back. What Taurus asks is whether they packed the good jumper.
Venus never opens more than 47.3 degrees from the Sun and never initiates the separation. Jupiter takes 11.85 years to cross the wheel and spends a third of that revising where it was going. One of you cannot leave and the other cannot stay in the sense the first one means it.
And the two people who are not in the kitchen: Taurus’ opposite is Scorpio, who would have named the price of going out loud before the packing started, and Sagittarius is what comes just after Scorpio, with the same intensity turned outward at the world instead of at a person. Sagittarius’ opposite is Gemini, who leaves and returns and leaves again and is somehow never actually gone, and Taurus is what comes just before Gemini and does not leave at all.
When did either of you last say the actual question?
For Taurus, the work is asking the real question in the kitchen, in the plain words, before the rucksack moves.
For Sagittarius, the work is giving the real reason for going, once, even though it is smaller and duller than the four you have offered.
Venus cannot leave and Jupiter cannot stop revising the route, and at a hundred and fifty degrees you have no element, no modality and no polarity in common to fall back on.
So who has been doing the asking in this house, and in what language?
150 degrees apart
A hundred and fifty degrees apart, and like the semi-sextile it is not one of the five aspects Ptolemy kept. Signs five along share nothing: not the element, not the modality, not the polarity. The semi-sextile comes up as empty-handed, but its two signs at least touch. These two are most of the way across the wheel from each other with no common ground at any point along it, which is why the terms keep having to be invented as you go.

A sign is still a general lens: it says nothing about where your Moon or your Venus actually fell. A synastry report reads your two real birth charts against each other, with the aspects that are genuinely there.
