How these two meet
Virgo and Capricorn: everybody calls it joyless, and neither of you has bothered to correct them.
There is a list in each of your heads and neither of you has ever read it out loud.
Virgo’s is of things fixed before anybody noticed they were broken. Capricorn’s is of weight carried without an invoice. Both are accurate, both are long, and reading either one out would sound like an accusation, so neither ever gets read.
Mercury notices what is wrong and Saturn is already building the thing that stops it being wrong again, so a small failure gets absorbed and corrected before either of you has said a word about it. Which is why neither of you has ever had to say the word, and why the lists exist at all.
Other people call this joyless and neither of you has bothered to correct them, partly because from the doorway it does look like that: a house that runs, two people who do not complain, a standard nobody set out loud and everybody meets.
It takes this long to arrive at because it takes this long to see, and it is this: being tired in front of the other one does not start anything. No help arrives, no improvement gets proposed, nothing is fixed. It is the one thing in this house that is allowed simply to be reported.

For Virgo, the work is saying the list out loud once, not as a complaint, and then letting it go instead of filing it.
For Capricorn, the work is being visibly tired in front of somebody who is not Virgo. It will feel unprofessional. It is the same muscle.
Mercury re-reads everything and Saturn does not revisit anything, and between the two of you almost nothing has ever been dropped.
Nobody in this house has been told the work counted, in either direction, since about the third week. Neither of you has needed telling, which is exactly why it has never been said.
