How these two meet
There is a line down the middle of this house and neither of you drew it on purpose.
On Leo’s side is everything public: who comes over, how the room feels, what gets said at the table, the version of the two of you that other people meet. Leo never claimed it. Leo simply occupied it, warmly, and nobody contested it.
On Scorpio’s side is everything that matters and is not said. Money, the real opinion about your friends, the thing that happened in April, what either of you is actually afraid of. Scorpio did not claim that either. Scorpio kept custody of it because nobody else was going to.
The Sun holds the centre, never turns back, and is one of only two bodies on this wheel that never goes retrograde at all. Mars runs 2.13 years between reversals and gives no warning of the turn. One of you is entirely legible and the other is entirely not, and you have both decided that this is a division of labour.
It is not a division of labour. It is two people who each got half a marriage and agreed not to look at the seam.
For Leo, the work is asking one question about the other side of the line and staying for the whole answer, including the parts that are not flattering.
For Scorpio, the work is handing over one thing from your side. Not the largest. Any of them.
And a third: neither of you has to give up your half. You have to say out loud that it is a half.
