How these two meet
Six people at the table, and Sagittarius has just described the plan. Not their plan: the plan, the one that takes everyone with it, put so well that three of them are already in. Leo is at the far end of the table and is the reason those six people have been in a room together for four years.
Nobody took anything from anybody. Leo is smiling and means it, the plan is good, Leo will be in it. And there is a small cold spot that will not have a name until Sunday.
The Sun does not move off its centre and never once turns back. Jupiter crosses the wheel every 11.85 years and spends about a third of its time apparently travelling backwards, which is to say it goes furthest and keeps revising where it was going. Leo holds the room. Sagittarius keeps finding a larger one.
Those are not bids for the same thing, which is why this never becomes an argument, and also why it never resolves.
For Leo, the work is saying on Sunday that the cold spot existed, without dressing it up as a question about the plan.
For Sagittarius, the work is naming whose room you are standing in before you describe the bigger one.
And a third: generosity is not attention. You have both been handing out the first while running short of the second.
The question
Is either of you still here for the reason you arrived?
One conscious action
one plan, credited
Next time either of you puts something in front of other people, say in one sentence where it came from and who has been holding up the thing it is built on.
One sentence, in front of the others. Not afterwards in the kitchen.
There is no shortage of warmth in this house and there never has been. Neither of you is short of anything, which is precisely what makes the cold spot so hard to raise.
What would either of you have to admit to wanting, in order to say it out loud?
