How these two meet
You go to the same events, you know the same people, and the two of you divide the work of a room without ever discussing it: Leo takes the front, Aquarius takes the edges, and everybody gets seen by one of you.
That is not a metaphor about your personalities. It is a description of what happens on a Friday.
Leo’s claim is that a person is worth attending to individually and warmly. Aquarius’ claim is that a group is a system, and that a system which only works when one person is charming is not working.
The Sun holds the centre and never turns back, one of two bodies here that never goes retrograde. Saturn takes 29.43 years, is retrograde over a third of the time, and does not announce, it arranges. Both fixed, so neither claim has moved since the first year.
And the thing that took a decade to become visible: Aquarius does not actually believe the system argument about Leo. Aquarius has made exactly one permanent exception to it and has never admitted that an exception was made, and Leo has known since about the third month and has never said so either.
For Leo, the work is saying out loud that you noticed the exception.
For Aquarius, the work is naming it as an exception rather than folding it back into the principle.
And a third: an axis does not have a middle. Neither of you is going to end up in one and neither of you should be trying.
The question
What would either of you be, if the other one were not the opposite?
One conscious action
the exception, named
Each of you name one rule you hold that the other one is exempt from.
There is one on both sides. Neither of you has ever said it and you have both been living inside it.
Two fixed signs on one axis, the Sun that never turns and Saturn that arranges without announcing, and neither position has moved in a decade.
The finding is one unnamed exception on each side. It is not much to have found. It is what the whole thing has been standing on.
