How these two meet
One of you holds it in the body: the jaw, the sleep, the thing that turns up as a shoulder in March.
The other holds it as a position: a decision made about somebody in 2019 that has not been revisited and is not going to be.
Same faculty, two storage systems, and neither of you has ever called the other one secretive.
Mars runs 2.13 years between reversals, the longest of any planet, and gives no signal before the turn. Two of those means two positions being held at all times and no announcement scheduled for either.
And what does not exist in this house is anywhere to put something down. Not because either of you would refuse to take it, but because taking it would mean holding it, and holding is the thing you both already do to capacity.
For one of you, the work is saying the position out loud before it is finished, while it can still be argued with.
For the other, the work is naming where it is sitting in the body, out loud, on the day, in plain words.
