How these two meet
Two rucksacks in the hall and neither of them has been fully unpacked since 2023.
Somebody has to be at the flat when the boiler man comes on Tuesday, and the conversation about which of you it will be has now happened four times and produced nothing, because you are both arguing from the same position and neither of you can see it as a position: that the thing on the other side of Tuesday is more real than Tuesday.
Jupiter needs 11.85 years to cross the twelve signs, spends about a year in each and is retrograde 30.1 per cent of the time. It goes furthest and keeps revising where it was going. Two of those makes a house with an enormous amount of destination in it and no address.
And the thing neither of you can see, because you are both standing in it, is that nothing here has ever been kept. Not lost. Never kept. There has not been anybody whose job it was.
For one of you, the work is being at the flat on Tuesday and not treating it as a sacrifice.
For the other, the work is saying thank you for a Tuesday, which will feel absurdly small and is the whole of it.
The question
Is there anything here that neither of you would leave?
One conscious action
one Tuesday, kept
One of you takes one dull fixed obligation this month, on a named day, alone.
The other does not offer to swap, does not point out that it is unfair, and does not compensate for it later.
Jupiter takes a year to cross a single sign and there are two of them here, which is a great deal of horizon and no floor.
Somebody is going to have to be smaller than they intended to be. Neither of you signed up for that and it is going to be one of you anyway.
