How these two meet
Gemini’s range is the room, the week, the six people currently in play, the thing somebody said on Tuesday that has not stopped being interesting.
Sagittarius’ range is the year, the country, the argument about what any of it is for, and a rolling assessment of whether this is still the right life.
Neither of those is the bigger one. They are the same faculty at two focal lengths, and the wheel built an axis out of exactly that.
Mercury never stands more than 27.8 degrees from the Sun and turns back three times a year. Jupiter needs 11.85 years for the twelve signs and revises for a third of them. One of you is on a short leash and the other has no leash at all, and you are both mutable, so neither of you holds anything.
And what an axis does is push. The more Gemini works the room, the further out Sagittarius goes to find something Gemini has not already covered. The further Sagittarius goes, the harder Gemini works the room to have something ready when they come back.
